There's a flurry of postings about Sarah Palin's speech, and not much needs to be added about her words, except maybe, she said she does know what the North Slope of Alaska looks like (hint, hint). More noteworthy was the before and after contrast. Yesterday, we had a procession of Liberals denigrating the Alaskan Governor: David Letterman describing her family as a Jerry Springer episode, and Bill Maher calling her an airline stewardess.
Then she gave the speech. Our man on the convention floor, Smokey Joe called in to report that the energy and emotion was overwhelming. Conservatism is on fire among the Delegates who two months ago were ambivalent to say the least.
And most telling, CNN commentators said (glumly), "McCain has found his attack dog."
Good job Governor.
